Book as an Object
The intention behind the project was to portray a book as an object; The idea was to use only one colour and basing the story on one letter. I choose the colour 'Green' and the letter 'B'. The story is about Beero, who is a beer bottle but has a human like character.
Binding Style & Photography Direction
The booklet is bound by a concertina fold, this gave the idea a continuity when opened long, similar to the life of Beero. However keeping each event that occurred separate with the help of the folds. The project required me to art direct, photograph and make a story line. Each page is a different scene and required individual photography construction, Giving Beero a more realistic story line and an element of surprise.
