Magazine design
Evolute is a Melbourne business based; experimental magazine. The content of the magazine is about colour exploration and its uses, some of which can be beneficial in promoting businesses or even generate ideas for new trends. Printing techniques such as over printing, silver foiling etc have been used to bring out certain details and elements. Each issue of the magazine constantly changes shape until a completely new shape is formed, then the cycle begins again. This then forces a constantly evolving grid, thus pushing boundaries and creating out of the norm grids.
The dye cuts
With the use of dye cuts I was able to experiment and see if one image can be related to two or more articles. The dye cuts are also used to explore and extract colours.
