Love Types Calendar
Typography is a medium that has hardly been explored in Nairobi, and it occurred to us that using it would create a calendar that would appeal to the design industry as well as Creative Edge clients.
I based our concept on words that are commonly used in business and in design to communicate ideas. Each month has a word, and each word has a description at the back. The calendar uses a very simple and clean layout, including the date pad, to allow the typography to stand out. We also used a dye-cut at the bottom right to reveal our logo, front and back; allowing it to be seen throughout the year without having to repeat it on every page.
